Travel arrangements

 

Skiathos airport is closest. A private water taxi crossing from Koukounaries in Skiathos to Katiogiorgis in Pelion only takes 25 minutes. The house is a 45-minute drive from Katigiorgos. Thessaloniki airport is an international airport and is also recommended.

Once in Greece, the journey is simple and straightforward.

If you come via Skiathos, you will need to book a boat crossing from Skiathos to Katigiorgis or Platanias in Southern Pelion (we can help with the arrangements) and then travel onto the house by taxi or rental car.

If you come via Thessaloniki, we recommend hiring a car at the airport and driving down to the house. The drive from Thessaloniki takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

If you wish, we can organise minibus pickup and transfer direct to the property from Thessaloniki or Athens airports or from southern Pelion if you are coming via Skiathos.

 

Directions to the property

The property is about 30 kilometres south of Volos.  We will give you full instructions on how to get to the house by car when you book.
